Grind Burger Bar & Lounge (CLOSED)

August 30th, 2011 by Erik Chudy

As the suggestions are starting to roll in, my to-do list is quickly growing so I thought I’d tackle a fairly new and often mentioned location, Grind Burger Bar & Lounge. With a pretty awesome 2 for 1 offer that you can find in most magazines in town, and some additional free items typically found on their website, it all sounded pretty sweet.  Was it? continue reading »

Vintner Grill

August 22nd, 2011 by Erik Chudy

Located in an inconspicuous office park in Summerlin, Vintner Grill has been a favorite dinner spot of mine for a few years now. Looking at the address and being familiar with most restaurant locations in Vegas off of the strip, one would assume the entrance is facing directly onto Charleston Blvd, but you would be mistaken. Once you finally locate the entry amongst your standard setup of covered office parking spaces in the back, you enter a space rich with modern design and accessories. It might be a tad cluttered, but I really like the space and have always loved everything I’ve eaten for dinner. This is the first time I’ve been there for lunch, and jumped on the chance when I saw a burger on the menu. But did it stand up as well as the dinners I’ve eaten? continue reading »

The Burger Week From Hell

August 21st, 2011 by Erik Chudy

Boston Burger Blog’s visit to Vegas, or what I’d like to call ‘The Burger Week from Hell’. Here’s a little story I’d like to tell you, a story that actually spawned this very site.  My brother, the creator and writer of the Boston Burger Blog decided to visit last December for a few days. As the trip neared, we wanted to nail down what meals we would be eating during his stay, or more importantly, what burger joints we needed to try. He was going to be here for about 5 full days, but the list was already around 15 locations and didn’t leave any room for any other types of food we might want. During these discussions we quickly realized that this was about to become a challenge to see which one of us could actually consume burgers for the entire 5 days he would be here. continue reading »

Wild Game Sliders

August 15th, 2011 by Erik Chudy

wild game slidersSince this site is still fairly new, I don’t want to stray from my burger reviews with so many places in town yet to try, but I feel compelled to talk about an interesting meal I had last week.  My girlfriend and I wanted to try something different for dinner, and I quickly remembered hearing about the wild game sliders that they serve over at the Chicago Brewing Company. One thing I like almost as much as burgers is trying weird and new foods, this promised to do just that.

Bachi Burger

August 13th, 2011 by Erik Chudy

This was a very nice surprise; after eating 7 burgers in 3 days and not having much success at any of them(story coming soon), Boston Burger Blog and I were looking for something a bit different and were intrigued by the Asian influence to the menu. We went there at 7pm on a Monday night expecting to sit right down and eat like we had at all the other burger places I’ve ever been to. 30+ minutes later and some unnecessary confusion from the hostesses and we were finally seated. Not a great start. continue reading »
